She was a little girl
A little town where nobody is a stranger
The kinda place where
You keep a close eye on your neighbor
Just to talk to talk
While you wait the train at the station
Gossip can run far
Crossing the lines of the average population
The news were spreading fast that day
And everybody knew what's happened to her
When her daddy came back from work
He found all the things he'd been hearing about

But why bother though if they all got blood on their hands
And now her mama has to wait
The line to see her babies little face
She'll have to keep the memory
