Memories of the past can fade I'll write them down so people know the pain can be overcame
It occurred to me that life has changed and things are changing every single day in a joyful way
I was saved and not by chance
It turns out this was all part of His plans
To give me life
Now its time for me to say a big goodbye
Goodbye to all the ways I used to be before
You are the reason that I'm walking through the door
Time can pass me by now that You've opened up my eyes
I'm ready to say Goodbye

He took my heart of stone so a flesh heart's what beats now
If you don't believe me then lets look at an ultrasound
One thing I pray is we know how His grace works
And one thing I learned is to always seek His face first
As long as I'm with Him I will never fall face first
He took my dirty garments and he gave me Christ's clean shirt
Ye that's Jesus Christ, that's God's Only Son
He lit me like a torch now I shine like the sun
So I'll trust in Him forevermore
My old ways of before
To all of them
